本來賽前預估五五波的火箭-小牛的季後賽組合，小牛在C.Parsons確定系列賽報銷以及
Harris因傷缺席前兩場比賽和Rondo背(被)受傷基本上讓這個系列賽的走勢已成定局。雖
然因為年紀讓防守腳步完全跟不上對手的擋拆搭配，但在進攻端快滿37歲的Dirk依舊咬牙
苦撐著小牛，在今晚砍下34分、八板、四助攻的好成績，可惜這依然無法帶領小牛在主場
拿下勝利。
據統計，超過36歲但依舊能在季後賽拿下至少30分、八籃板以及四助攻的球員只有三位-
分別是天鉤-kareem abdul-jabbar(兩次)、巴爵士-Barkley以及德制坦克-Dirk

而 Carlisle則是對於Dirk的表現給予了高評價：「Dirk的表現如此驚人，他有著驚人的

然而Ellis錯失了追平機會，也讓小牛陷入0-3的絕對落後的劣勢

Devin on Dirk: "I'm just kind of heartbroken that we couldn't get a win for
him, especially with the effort he put up out there."
Dirk賽後採訪時也承認這場失利是讓人難過的：「我們需要這場勝利，這場痛苦的失利大
概可以排在我長期季後賽生涯中的前幾名。」

而被問到對於最後一擊的執行人選是否有所疑問，Dirk是這樣回答的。
「有數以萬計的想法就這樣竄進你的腦海中，是否當時我們作出不同的選擇會有不一樣的
結果呢?但是我不會質疑我自己以及教練的決定，Ellis這兩年來成為我們非常依賴的球員
。通常情況下他都能憑藉他的切入替我們拿下分數。這兩年來Ellis在clutch time的表現
拯救了我們無數次。 」
而Carlisle則是將一切承擔下來：「最後一擊並沒有跑出一個好的得分機會，這一切都歸
責與我」

Carlisle said they didn’t get a “great shot” on the final look. “That’s
on me,” he said.
兩天後在小牛主場的第四戰就要開打了，在少了CP、Rondo的情況下，小牛要如何守住主
場，大概是很大的難題吧。
而今年暑假，要如何控制好Dirk的上場時間和替他找到防守端能幫忙Cover弱點的球員會是
制服組重要的課題吧。
