Earl Watson Joins Austin Toros As Assistant Coach

The Austin Toros of the NBA D-League have hired Earl Watson and Jason Fraser
as assistant coaches.
馬刺隊旗下發展聯盟球隊「奧斯丁公牛」幾天前宣布聘請Earl Watson與Jason Fraser
加入球隊的助教團－而Watson正是在本週宣布退休的資深後衛。

這兩人都會成為奧斯丁隊總教練Ken McDonald的新助手。值得一提的是，奧斯丁隊還有
一位助教名叫Mike Miller，這位MM當然不是最近加盟騎士隊的那位射手，而且年紀也
比較大。教練Miller有超過20年的教練經歷，大部分時間是在一級但非頂級的大學校隊
服務，去年才轉換跑道至小聯盟職籃。
“I'm thrilled with the addition of Earl and Jason to our staff,” McDonald
said in a statement. “Both have valuable basketball backgrounds and will
bring depth and experience to our group.”
Ken McDonald在記者會上表示：「我很高興Earl與Jason這兩人能加入我們球隊，因為這
兩人不但擁有充滿價值的籃球背景，也能幫球隊帶來實戰經驗與深度。」
Watson had a 13-year NBA career that included time with seven teams (Seattle,
Memphis, Denver, Oklahoma City, Indiana, Utah and Portland).
Watson有13年的職籃生涯，而他效力過的球隊共有七支，以順序排列分別是超音速(選秀
選他的球隊，而且也在06年重新加盟)、灰熊、金塊、雷霆、溜馬、爵士與拓荒者。
Watson在回鍋超音速時擁有場均10分5助攻的能力，不過他去年加盟拓荒者時所有重要數
據(包括出賽場次、時間、得分與助攻)都創生涯新低，這顯然也是他在本週決定結束球
員生涯的關鍵因素。
