Former New York Knicks head coach Mike Woodson has a new job as an assistant
on Doc Rivers' staff with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Woodson was put out of work when he was fired in April by the New York Knicks
after the team finished 37-45 and out of the playoffs this season.

Rivers has staff openings to fill after Alvin Gentry left for the Golden
State Warriors, Tyronn Lue went to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Kevin Eastman
was promoted to the Clippers' front office as vice president of basketball
operations.

According to reports, Rivers also would like to add Lawrence Frank, former
Milwaukee Bucks head coach Larry Drew and Washington Wizards assistant Sam
Cassell to his staff. Frank worked under Rivers with the Boston Celtics.
