The Portland Trail Blazers have presented LaMarcus Aldridge with a maximum
contract extension.
Paul Allen and Neil Olshey met with Wasserman Media Group agents Thad Foucher
and Arn Tellem to lay out the max contract extension scenarios available to
Aldridge and reaffirm the franchise's desire to secure him for the long term,
league sources said.
拓荒者的老闆Paul Allen與總管Neil Olshey，幾天前會面了WMG媒體集團的兩位重要
人物－Thad Foucher與Arn Tellem，他們兩位也就是拓荒者現任一哥LaMarcus
Aldridge(LMA)的經紀人。這次會面並且展示了Aldridge各種可能的頂薪續約方案，
以及球隊強調會積極用長約讓LMA續留拓荒者的決心。
The Blazers offered a three-year, $55.5 million extension this summer, though
it is not in Aldridge's best interest to accept it.
拓荒者在季後賽打完後，曾經提供LMA一份三年/5550萬美金的延長合約，但這顯然並
不是LMA最想要與最有利的方案。
The Blazers are determined to keep Aldridge on a five-year, $108 million
extension that he can sign upon reaching free agency next summer.
沒有意外的話，拓荒者應該會在明年暑假，以五年總額超過一億美金的價碼，讓LMA
在成為自由球員後，立刻以頂薪續留拓荒者。
