Five things we learned from the Rockets’ Game 6 loss

1. When Damian Lillard is heading to the 3-point line, beat him there:
Lillard deserves all kinds of credit for his dash toward the ball and his
rapid catch-and-shoot. But the Rockets were too late from before the play
even began. Chandler Parsons switched on to Lillard at the last moment, and
trailed him as soon as Lillard began his sprint. The Rockets seemed prepared
to switch on a screen, but the screen never game. Parsons arrived in time
only to reach up for a late contest of the shot, but too late to really do
anything about it.

2. Just once, a double-digit lead should be safe: The Rockets had their usual
double-digit lead. It was just 10 points and it lasted only momentarily, but
it was larger than any lead the Blazers had in the entire series. The Rockets
held double-digit leads in five of the six games, losing three of those
games. There is a reason teams in the playoffs come back. If one team is good
enough to make a run the other is to answer it. But the Rockets did not just
lose on Damian Lillard’s final 3 at the buzzer. They lost when they never
could take one of those double-digit leads and push it out to something safe.

the Rockets got little off the bench. Lin had 11 points, though he made just
4 of 13 shots. Terrence Jones had five points. Troy Daniels played only nine
minutes. The Blazers got little off their bench, though Thomas Robinson
provided a needed jolt. But the Rockets need to bring more off the bench than
just Lin’s scoring.

4. Two stars won – just not those two stars: The Rockets were built around a
pair of All-Stars, but so were the Blazers, and overall, Damian Lillard and
LaMarcus Aldridge had a better series than James Harden and Dwight Howard.
Howard was outstanding on both ends of the floor and on the boards throughout
the series, but Harden struggled until his strong game on Friday. Aldridge,
however, dominated the start of the series and Lillard owned its finish.
4.兩巨頭獲勝，不過是拓荒者的兩巨頭，李納德和AGG

5. The pain will last – and might help: The Rockets were the youngest team
in the postseason, the fourth-youngest and second-least experienced team in
the NBA during the regular-season. Some of their mistakes might point to
their youth, but they unquestionably might have needed to go through a series
like this, including its devastating conclusion to toughen them for the sort
of playoff run they expected this season. It was a hard way to grow up, but
maybe necessary.
5.痛苦將持續，但是會帶來幫助
火箭隊太年輕了 是季後賽最年輕的球隊
就算是季賽也是第四年輕和經驗第二少的球隊
他們太年輕 所以會犯下很多像系列戰中的錯
成長的過程很痛苦，但是是必經的
心得:
講得很中肯，一輪不是只輸在最後的幾個play
在於沒守成還有冰箱根本不敢用板凳~~~~D-Mo/老賈.....
