Playing in their first preseason game since their rebrand, Pelicans guard
Tyreke Evans went down early in the second quarter with a left ankle injury.
X-rays on the joint were negative, but Evans still has to undergo an MRI to
check for further damage.

Evans injured the ankle with 9:02 remaining in the second quarter when he
landed awkwardly after making a running shot in the lane. The Pelicans'
training staff attended to Evans on the court and had to help him to the
locker room because he wasn't able to put pressure on his left leg.

Evans said he twisted his ankle when he landed on the foot of Rockets player.
He said he hopes to return soon, though.
Evans則表示，他是在落地的時候踩到了火箭防守球員的腳，他希望能夠盡快歸隊。
"It's just a sprain," Evans said. "Yeah, it definitely was (scary). Hopefully
I'm back before the season starts. I just got to get treatment on it."

了緊急治療。」Evans說。
