先前才有情報指出今年Google正在研發一款冠Pixel名的智慧手錶，而且即將會有3款。

指出今年將不會有這款手錶的蹤影現身在10月Google年度硬體發表會上。經過兩次與
負責Wear OS的負責人確認今年將"致力於改善Wear OS體驗"，並不會發表手錶，會專注
在合作夥伴智慧手錶的開發。
Our Google Pixel line of phones is the best experience and Google’s take on
it, so I imagine we would focus heavily on the [Google] Assistant to
integrate AI and machine learning into the device, which is Google’s forte.
也將重點放在Google Assistant的改善因為在下個月Wear OS的大更新中將會大量仰賴
Google Assistant。
負責人Miles Barr更說希望能夠把版本號碼的習慣移除，希望能以持續推送定期更新來
為消費者提供穩定好用的服務，取代讓消費者等待一年一次僅是等待版本改變的窘境。
