Too porous for Aubameyang's tap-in but otherwise played with the confidence
that has been lacking in his game this season.

Solid throughout. Got forward to supplement attacks and offer an outlet
without having a significant effect that was still useful.

Shielded the defence with authority and held the fort as United embarked on
counter-attacks. His renaissance continues.

Solskjaer said before the game sometimes he has '11 captains' and Herrera led
as though the armband was strapped to his bicep.
Paul Pogba - 8
Quietly effective on what was a restrained night. Conserving energy made his
second-half breakaways all the more threatening and he got Laurent Koscielny
booked.
Jesse Lingard - 9
Wembley used to be his favourite capital ground but it might now be the
Emirates. Exceptional before he calmly slotted in.

Regularly ceded possession but atoned with a skillful finish past Petr Cech
to put United ahead. Flagged in the second-half.

Sanchez from the right flank.
