Marcos Rojo是一名多才多藝的阿根廷後衛，凶悍的攔截風格肯定會讓他深受世界各地
的曼聯球迷歡迎。南美人對於英超賽場上激烈的身體對抗，毫不畏懼，他的勇猛態度在自
己的刺青上已可見一斑，在他的大腿上有著'自尊'和'榮譽'的兩個刺青，相信每一名前鋒
都會感受到他的警告。Rojo成為第四位加盟曼聯的阿根廷球員，之前曾在夢劇場效力過的
阿根廷人包括有貝隆、海因策和特維斯。
阿根廷主帥薩貝拉之前曾在拉普拉塔大學生隊跟Rojo共事，在2009年他們幫助拉普拉
塔大學生贏得南美解放者杯，之後一年又贏得阿根廷春季聯賽冠軍。登陸歐洲後，Rojo在
Vidic的前東家莫斯科斯巴達陷入困局。儘管如此他依然得到阿根廷國家隊的徵召，在南美
解放者杯，他已經證明了自己的價值。
2012年夏天，他以350萬英鎊的價格轉投里斯本競技，在適應了葡萄牙的生活之後，他

在2014夏天，跟Rojo一起加盟曼聯的還有Luke Shaw和Blind這兩名左後衛，一次性簽
下三名左後衛令這個位置突然變得人滿為患。由於左後衛人員充足，而中衛位置由於傷病
原因經常缺人，結果阿根廷人在曼聯的首個賽季經常都會出現在中衛位置。
不幸的是，Rojo在曼聯的第一個賽季受到傷病的影響，包括在曼徹斯特德比戰中肩膀
脫臼，在各項賽事當中，他只上場26次，在3比0擊敗劍橋聯的足總杯賽事中，他取得在曼
聯的第一顆進球。肩部舊傷和其他一些小病痛讓Rojo在曼聯的第二個賽季過得並不順利，
儘管如此，他的出場記錄比上賽季的數據有了長足的進步達到28場之多。並且在溫布利舉
行的足總杯曼聯擊敗水晶宮的決賽后，隨隊舉起了冠軍獎杯 這同時也是他的第一面足總盃

2015-16賽季裡，Rojo再次入選阿根廷國家隊並出征在美國舉辦的百年美洲杯，但在
決賽階段他卻因犯規得到紅牌被罰出場，而這場決賽最終以阿根廷隊在點球大戰中輸給衛
冕冠軍智利隊而結束，恰如2015年美洲杯決賽的歷史重演。
