Chourio's diagnosis is worse than it was first thought in the aftermath of
what was described as a right hamstring spasm while legging out a triple
against thehicago Cubsn July 29.
"My leg is a touch tight, but I feel good," Chourio said after the game.
The Brewers' tone sounded quite different just a few days later in Washington.

"I don’t (know), but it won’t be anytime soon," he said. "It was diagnosed
a little more severe than we initially thought but to what extent I’m not
exactly sure. Nor are (the medical staff). We’re just going to have to rehab
it."
Chourio received a PRP injection in Milwaukee in hopes of accelerating the
healing in the muscle.
Murphy wasn't able to give a timeline for Chourio's return from Washington,
but left open the possibility that it's an extended absence.
"Could be," Murphy responded when asked if it could be a monthlong absence.
More than a month?
"Could be."
