prestigious League of Legends world championship title.

In addition to the teams already qualified for the event through IEM events
in Shenzhen, San Jose, Cologne and Taipei, we will also be inviting the
number one team in the Korean LCK by the end of the first half of the season
(14th February), the number one team in the European LCS by the end of week
five (20th of February) as well as the number one North American LCS team by
the end of week five (23rd of February). In the case of a perfectly tied
first place, the team with the best results in the previous LCS/LCK season
will receive the invite.
