中間發生了些鳥事:原先的網路商店捲款潛逃導致BDFL喝西北風,只好在論壇求斗內!

賀，新版等很久了

拖很久了，當初在怎麼死忠的用戶，也都跳光光了。

那是在台灣，國外還是很熱門，都轉用 current。current 是一直都有在運作。

距上一個大改版已是十年前... 混不似往昔的兩三年Patrick 自稱差點要到洋芋片工廠上班 XD

說"熱門"有點誇大了我覺得,雖然他是讓我開始知道什麼是linux的啟蒙distro.不過直到debian woody我就跳坑了.要方便有mint/ubuntu,要高度可玩性gentoo比slackware還更多可玩的.slackware 只剩粉絲了吧.

雖然沒有實際的統計，但我碰到許多國外的 Slackware玩家，真的是不少。各 distro 都有他的文化。當然現比較多人不是單獨使用一種 distro。

能用它自己的哲學維持下來也是不錯的

Slackware 的哲學（文化）一句話就說完了：樸素主義她不是技術導向的 distro。因此，不能對一位素食者說烤雞腿比素食好吃。這是不對等比較。

終於。雖然出不出正式版沒差，但象徵意義還是重要的。

他的twm安裝界面可以比Arch還難懂…但是多看YouTube影片幾次就可以了。
