A quick-thinking Jeremy Lin fan filed for the trademark “Brook-Lin” on July
1, following Lin’s signing with the Nets, and subsequently transferred it to
Lin, according to NetsDaily. The pending application on the United States
Patent and Trademark Office’s website says the term “Brook-Lin” is to be
used commercially for hooded sweatshirts, jerseys and T-shirts, among other
items.
