Jeremy Lin is one of the scoring options that the Lakers are counting on in
order to lift them from this very poor, record-breaking performance to start
the 2014-15 season.

the Hornets, Lin has since averaged more than 12 points and only 4 assists.

register more than 7 dimes a game if he does not score close to 20. While we

also ignore the fact that Lin has averaged more than 34 minutes every game.

It figures that the Lakers' roster is composed of below average defenders in
Lin and Carlos Boozer. Jordan Hill is a capable rebounder and scorer, but in
terms of defense he cannot defend the paint well.
Bryant is a good defender in the perimeter, but putting up more than 25 shots
a game will certainly take its toll on him.
The Lakers have no problems when it comes to scoring, but until the entire
team learns how to play defense, Los Angeles is coming nowhere near the
playoff picture.
