倫敦大學再發聲明背書：蔡英文總統1984年獲得博士學位，過程沒有任何問題

蔡英文總統母校倫敦政經學院所屬的倫敦大學日前在官網發表聲明，再次澄清蔡英文博士
論文事件的相關爭議。倫敦大學指出，蔡英文於1984年2月在提交論文並受兩位考官審查
後，獲得博士學位。儘管不清楚校內圖書館是否存有論文紙本，但此事與蔡英文的博士學
位無關，她的學位授予並無問題。
倫敦大學（University of London）也完全否認在尋找論文紙本的過程中，該校任何教職
員有錯誤或欺騙行為。所有受理蔡英文論文查詢事宜的人員，都以最誠信的方式來處理。
倫敦大學也在聲明最後附上蔡英文論文查詢網址，可查到「Tsai Ing-wen」博士論文《Un
fair trade practices and safeguard actions》（不公平貿易行為和安全防衛措施）的
電子檔。

University of London statement on missing thesis
Dr Tsai Ing-wen, who is now the President of Taiwan, was awarded a PhD in Febr
uary 1984 following the submission and examination of her thesis by two examin
ers. While it remains unclear whether copies were deposited with the Universit
y’s library, that has no bearing on Dr Tsai’s PhD, which was correctly award
ed.
The University categorically denies any allegations of wrongdoing or falsehood
made against any member of staff in relation to the search for copies of this
thesis. All University of London staff who have handled enquiries related to
this thesis have done so with the utmost integrity.
