邀請40餘國外使出席臺北設市百年紀念交流活動 柯文哲：願我們共同寫下臺北多元、兼
容、共榮的篇章

臺北市長柯文哲於今(26)日出席北市設市百年系列活動-外國駐華使節導覽紀念展暨交流
活動，今年適逢臺北市歡慶設市百年，北市府特別邀請各國駐台使節赴臺北市立文獻館參
訪，隨後至歷史建築八十八茶店茶敘交流。
本次活動共有美、日、英、法等40國駐台機構使節及官員出席，希望透過人文風情與歷史
韻味的體驗、交流，增進駐臺使節對首善之都臺北市的認識與連結，共同迎接北市下一個
「兼容、友善、共榮（Diversity, Integrity and Prosperity）」的百年。
會中柯文哲的致詞稿中英對照全文如下：
「各位先生女士，午安，我是柯文哲。今天非常開心能歡迎各位來一同慶祝臺北設市百年
。
臺北市為臺灣的首都，一直都以多元友善、包容和共榮的價值為傲。想必大家也清楚，臺
北的歷史有過各種不同的文化的灌溉。也因此，臺北也以國際化的方式持續成長。今天很
驕傲能夠展現臺北這100年的歷史，也希望能與各位一起構想臺北下一世紀的願景。
臺北的食物、音樂、語言和建築上都可以找到多元化的痕跡。這一百年來，我們不斷的擁
抱世界，就如同你們持續的歡迎我們一樣。臺北的多元化也讓各式各樣的人能在臺北找到
一個屬於他的家。也因為各位的努力，讓我們一起共存在一個充滿機會的城市。
也因此，臺北市也是全亞洲最大同志遊行的地點。我們的不同，正是臺北的特色，也是讓
我們打造一個充滿歸屬感的城市的關鍵。
兼容的價值存在於臺北市的各項政策，對我們而言，臺北市民的尊嚴和近用權是至關重要
的。在此次疫情中，臺北以我們創新的防疫策略聞名。當我們面臨數位資安和人權的挑戰
時，臺北市從未因疫情而妥協。
臺北市是一座共榮的城市，我們也認真的將臺北提升到國際的水準。臺北流行音樂中心、
臺北表演藝術中心和大巨蛋都會在2022敞開大門。
我們也不斷的努力將臺北打造成一座英語友善的城市。如此也提升臺北市的競爭力，讓我
們的城市更適合外國的投資。共榮是我們的目標，這也是為什麼我們希望在場的各位會和
我們一同將各種機會帶到臺北市。
希望各位能享受今天的展覽，也和我們一同寫下臺北多元、兼容、共榮的下一章。我很期
待與各位討論臺北的未來，謝謝。」
「Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, I am Ko Wen-je. I am delighted to
welcome you all today and thank you for joining us on this wonderful occasion
to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of Taipei.
As the capital city of Taiwan, I am proud to say that Taipei’s core values
lie in diversity, integrity and prosperity. As you may have learned, Taipei
is a city that has been nourished by different cultures. Since then, we have
continued to grow with a globalized mindset.
It is my honour today to showcase the past 100 years of Taipei’s journey and
together, we can picture the very next century for our beloved city.
Taipei is home to the idea of diversity, as you may discover this beautiful
feature through food, music, exhibitions, languages and architectures. For
the past century, we continue to embrace the world, as you embrace us in
return. Given that, our history of diversity not only helps different people
to find their home in Taipei. Further, because of your profound efforts, we
are now living in a city of potential and possibility.
Hence, we are proud to claim that Taipei is home to the largest LGBT pride
parade in all of Asia. Together, our differences make Taipei unique and
creates a place where we may find a sense of belongingness.
Integrity is at the heart of Taipei City’s operations, where we champion the
dignity and accessibility of each citizen. In the face of this global
pandemic, Taipei has become renowned for our innovative solutions and
measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is important to recognise that
when it comes to the issues of digital security and human rights, Taipei City
Government has never compromised with the threat of this pandemic.
Together, we are committed to building a prosperous city that elevates Taipei
to the global standard. By 2022, Taipei Music Center, Taipei Performing Arts
Center and Taipei Dome will all be open to the public.
Last but not least, we are working towards a city that is fully functional in
English, which strengthens our competitiveness and makes Taipei an even
friendlier environment for investment. Prosperity for all is our goal, which
is why we hope that in the future, all guests present will join us in our
effort to bring opportunities to Taipei.
I hope everyone enjoys the tour today. And please join us to write the next
chapter of diversity, integrity, and prosperity for Taipei with us. I look
forward to discussing Taipei's future prospects with you. Thank you. 」
