NEW DELHI: Petrol and diesel prices were on Monday hiked by 40 paise a litre e
ach. This takes the total increase in rates in the last two weeks to Rs 8.40 p
er litre.

. Diesel rates have increased from Rs 94.67 per litre to Rs 95.07, according t

This is the 12th increase in prices since the ending of a four-and-half-month
long hiatus in rate revision in March. There had been a pause in the revision
of prices since November. It broke in March after crude oil prices began risin
g in the wake of the Russia-Ukraine war.
