利物浦大學校長寄信道歉惹～
應該是昨天的事情吧，動作其實挺慢的
更別說之前還有一個充滿嘲諷的假道歉顆顆
這個裡面的簡體中文應該沒關係吧？
Dear students
亲爱的同学们
I am writing to apologise following the email issued to all international
students from our international advice and guidance team yesterday. There was
a paragraph in this email which caused significant offence and has upset our
students, parents and partner organisations. This was a mistake and is not
representative of the high regard in which the University holds its Chinese
students. It was wholly inappropriate and I apologise wholeheartedly for the
offence it has caused.
我特此对昨天大学国际学生咨询和指导团队发给所有国际学生的一封电子邮件表示歉
意。这封电子邮件中的一段话引起了学生，家长以及大学合作伙伴机构的反感，并对他们
的感情造成了严重伤害。这是一个错误，而这个错误并不代表大学对中国学生的尊重态度
。这个错误非常不妥，我在此诚恳地为它所带来的伤害道歉。
We at the University of Liverpool are extremely proud to be an
international university and are equally proud of our strong links with China
and XJTLU. We value and respect cultural diversity and are extremely grateful
that so many international students come to study with us and enrich our
campus and city.
我们为利物浦大学是一所国际大学感到十分自豪，同时也非常荣幸能够与中国的西交
利物浦大学以及其它合作伙伴建立紧密合作。我们重视且尊重文化多样性，并且感谢那些
选择来我校求学的国际学生，正是他们丰富了我们的校园和城市文化。
We take full responsibility for the mistake made and will review our
procedures and take appropriate action to ensure nothing of this nature
happens again.
我们对这个错误承担全部责任。我们将会审查工作流程，并采取适当的措施以确保此
类问题不再发生。
My heartfelt apologies once more for the offence caused.
我再次为这次事件所造成的伤害表示衷心的道歉。
