Macropsia 視物顯大症
Macropsia (also known as megalopia) is a neurological condition affecting
human visual perception, in which objects within an affected section of the
visual field appear larger than normal, causing the person to feel smaller
than they actually are.
視物顯大症Macropsia 又稱megalopia，是一種影響人類視覺的神經學狀態
在視野區域中所見之物比正常為大，會讓人感覺自己變得渺小
Macropsia, along with its opposite condition, micropsia, can be categorized
under dysmetropsia.
相對於視物顯大症，醫學上也有稱為視物顯小症(micropsia)的疾病
兩者都被歸類於視物不稱症(dysmetropsia)中
Macropsia is related to other conditions dealing with visual perception,
such as aniseikonia and Alice in Wonderland Syndrome
(AIWS, also known as Todd's syndrome).
視物顯大也可能與某些會視覺的狀態相關

Macropsia has a wide range of causes, from prescription and illicit drugs,
to migraines and (rarely) complex partial epilepsy, and to different retinal
conditions, such as epiretinal membrane.[1] Physiologically, retinal
macropsia results from the compression of cones in the eye. It is the
compression of receptor distribution that results in greater stimulation
and thus a larger perceived image of an object.
視物顯大症有很多原因，從使用非法藥物、偏頭痛、複雜局部性癲癇
甚至視網膜上膜*3 的問題
生理上，視網膜造成的視物顯大，可能是壓迫視網膜的感光椎狀細胞所造成
因為壓迫到特定範圍中細胞的受器，會讓這些受器感知到外在影像的刺激被放大

同樣的症狀在精神科病理學聖經Sim's symptoms in mind中也有提到
不過阿肥覺得這個症狀如果沒有合併其他精神病理學症狀
還是交給眼科醫生處理比較恰當
