我哋留意到市民關心一宗懷疑感染中東呼吸道綜合症嘅個案，就此情況，現提供相關資料
：
今日中午時份，青衣站收到站內的診所通知，表示其中一位求診病人出現疑似中東呼吸綜
合症的徵狀，據悉診所隨即隔離有關病人，已聯繫衛生署衛生防護中心，將有關懷疑個案
轉介予防護中心跟進。車站得悉有關事情後，即時圍開站內診所的附近範圍。期後，救護
車到達將有關病人送院。
據診所提供的資料，有關病人是由路面步行進入位於車站地面層的診所，並無經過車站大
堂，亦無乘坐過港鐵列車。
青衣站已即時安排清潔員工為車站公眾範圍進行全面清潔及消毒，以1比49濃度的漂白水
進行清潔消毒。同時，車站安排所有青衣站員工配戴口罩，包括車站職員、月台助理及清
潔員工等。公司亦提醒員工若感到不適，應配戴口罩及立即求診。上班前亦要量度體溫。
車站亦已加強透過資訊顯示屏提醒乘客勤洗手、在身體不適或咳嗽時戴口罩等等，以避免
傳播細菌。診所方面亦即時進行相關的清潔及消毒。
事實上，港鐵一直致力提供一個清潔衛生的乘車環境，公司有一套既定的清潔程序及措施
，定期及按需要為車站和車廂設施進行清潔及消毒工作，包括每4小時用1比99漂白水清潔
乘客經常接觸到的地方，如扶手電梯、售票機、增值機、出入閘機及升降機等。在4個口
岸車站（羅湖、落馬洲、紅磡及機場站）的清潔次數更加密至每2小時一次。
港鐵亦會與衛生防護中心保持聯繫。
Noting public concern about a suspected Middle East Respiratory Syndrome case
in Tsing Yi Station, we provide the following information:
Tsing Yi Station Staff were notified around noon today by a clinic inside the
station about a suspected case of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome. The clinic
said the patient was immediately isolated and the Centre for Health Protectio
n (CHP) was contacted. Station staff cordoned off the open areas around the cl
inic and the patient was subsequently taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to the clinic, the patient had entered the station at the ground flo
or from the street and had not travelled on the MTR network nor walked through
the concourse area.
In response to the occurrence, Tsing Yi Station immediately arranged for the c
leaning and disinfection of all public areas of the station with a 1:49 bleach
and water solution. Cleaning and disinfection was also conducted at the clini
c. All Tsing Yi Station staff, including station assistants and cleaning staff
, have been instructed to wear face masks as a precautionary measure. They are
also required to measure their body temperature before reporting for duty. Th
e Corporation has reminded all staff if they feel unwell, they should put on a
face mask and see doctor immediately. Messages on the Passenger Information D
isplay in MTR stations have been strengthened to remind passengers to wash the
ir hands regularly and wear masks when in physical discomfort or coughing, etc
., in order to avoid the spread of bacteria.
MTR is committed to providing a clean transportation environment and has a set
of established cleaning procedures and practices, including periodic 1:99 ble
ach cleaning every four hours with disinfection of station facilities includin
g escalators, ticket machines, value-added machines, ticket gates and lifts. A
t Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau, Hung Hom and Airport stations, cleaning and disinfectant
is carried out every two hours.
MTR will also keep in contact with The Centre for Health Protection.
