吃過道地的香港料理,回台灣後沒去過港式餐廳,總覺得味道已經「在地化」了,總是少
了什麼,也常常受不了誘惑而買了想喝的凍檸茶,最終以失望收場,想著那明明是檸檬紅
茶(還是速食店的那種)不是凍檸茶阿。(想搖老闆的肩膀)
曾去香港找過我,吃過好吃香港小食的友人似乎也明瞭我的病癥,沒丟給我港式餐廳
或邀我去吃過,直到這間他先與別的朋友吃過的香港冰室:茗香園冰室。
友人吃完茗香園的那天馬上告訴我餐廳布置有多港式,包括會附上吸管跟湯匙的凍檸茶
,裡面有著黃澄澄的檸檬、用杯子裝的餐具、超級小的位置、如同香港用餐肩並肩的距離
,以及他最後的強調,超好吃的蘿蔔糕,比我們公認在香港吃過的蘿蔔糕還好吃!
這些推銷語句激起了我的興趣,於是趁著某次剛好的時間,我們去了位於中山站附近的茗
香園冰室。
開門時間還沒到就先排隊比較保險的小店,餐廳空間很小,很香港;桌距很小也很香港,
是間標準的香港冰室。
建議大家準時來,或者先來拿號碼牌,再去對面的百貨公司逛逛再來剛剛好。
#雞蛋牛肉三文治 (70元)
上次友人探路後,認為腸粉覺得沒有太出色,所以這次想點點不一樣的小品,就選擇了
雞蛋牛肉三文治。一上桌就讓我們驚豔,吐司上覆蓋著大片滑蛋和小塊牛肉,牛肉吃起來
滑嫩滑嫩與滑蛋跟吐司的配合恰到好處,推薦一吃的小點。
#蘿蔔糕 (88元)
第一次吃到茗香園的蘿蔔糕時,馬上讓友人想到在香港吃的添好運!口感綿密而且吃得
到蘿蔔塊(吃得到香甜的蘿蔔塊才是蘿蔔糕阿~)。吃完一份之後讓人還想再點第二份,味
道上甚至略贏過添好運的蘿蔔糕,而且價格也十分優惠。再配上辣椒醬,辣椒的香辣與蘿
蔔糕的香甜,是我們在茗香園的必點菜色!有來到茗香園的朋友一定要點來嘗試看看!
其實我在香港的朋友一直很不解我們一定要去吃添好運的心態,他常說香港也有很多很
好吃的茶餐廳阿,為什麼一定要去吃那間呢?!不過我想,偶而就是觀光客和米其林心態
在作祟吧哈哈,但添好運的小點搏得每位朋友的好評!
因為不同友人的來訪,我最高紀錄在一個月吃了三次添好運,那一陣子後來有時候不太想
吃港點哈哈。
#乾炒牛河(150元)
一上桌撲鼻而來的香氣,讓這道菜沒多久就一掃而空。看這色澤本來會擔心牛肉會過老,
但完全不會!同樣香嫩,佩服廚師的廚藝阿。河粉口感像比較有Q勁的粄條,配著鍋鑊的
鑊香氣和醬油鹹香味,忍不住一口凍奶茶、一口牛肉河粉,瞬間掃空。
#三眼仔豬排飯 (130元)
名字很討喜也很可愛的豬排飯,但看起來很邪惡,感覺膽固醇會爆表。豬排很好吃,豬肉
軟嫩不會過柴,醃過的豬排味道很夠,配上熟度剛好的蛋黃,輕輕滑一刀,蛋黃流洩而下
,黏黏稠稠的蛋黃包裹著豬排一口嚥下,感受到豬排的柔軟及蛋黃的濃稠。
但不太喜歡上頭淋的醬,像黑糖煮成焦糖,卻有糖漿甜膩的味道,吃來不太習慣。
#炸兩腸粉(100元)
友人第一次來的時候有嘗試過叉燒腸粉,但吃完後並沒有感到驚艷,覺得味道非常普通
。原本想著之後就不要再點腸粉類來填胃,沒想到這次再訪看到了炸兩腸粉的圖片,較少
見的腸粉與油條的組合,還是就點了。味道上有比上次叉燒腸粉來的好,但腸粉外皮依舊
是軟軟爛爛的口感,沒有彈性,如果是很愛吃腸粉的朋友仍可點來嘗試看看。
#凍檸茶 (80元)
在台灣已經踩了不知幾次凍檸茶的雷後,很多招牌上的凍檸茶喝起來都像速食店的檸檬紅
茶,終於喝到凍檸茶了!(感動)
但當天的紅茶比較澀,沒有那麼順口,友人說他上次喝的時候沒有這麼澀。價格雖然小
貴,但凍檸茶就是要配湯匙自己戳啊!
#凍奶茶(80元)
港式凍奶茶與台灣的鮮奶茶口味大相逕庭,第一次在香港冰室喝到時感到驚艷。台灣鮮奶
茶大部分是奶大於茶,而港式凍奶茶則剛好相反,有著濃濃的茶味,各有愛好者,而我兩
種都喜歡。 
這天喝的凍奶茶對我們而言有點太甜了,等到冰塊退冰大約一半後入口,甜度才剛好,怕
甜的讀者可能要注意一下喔。

Speaking of Hong Kong, what comes into your mind first? It may be the
fast-pacing city, tall building, night view or Hong Kong dish.
I had lived in Hong Kong for a while, Hong Kong has many delicious and
fascinating food that he couldn't bear some "localized" Hong Kong food in
Taiwan after he came back to Taiwan.
There is a little Hong Kong food shop in Taipei, near Zhongshan Station, if
you want to try some Hong Kong food in Taipei, we highly recommend it.
Ming Xiang Yuan is a small place with many seats, just like Hong Kong
restaurant. It is full of people after opening. Therefore, either come early
or take a number and go shopping at the department store across the street.
#Dried Beef Pho (NT$150)
The aroma is great with soybean sauce and beef. The beef is tender and Pho is
chewy. A bite of Beef Pho and a slip of iced milk tea, we ate the whole plate
in nearly only 8 minutes.
#Radish Cake (NT$88)
I didn't like radish cake actually until he met Hong Kong radish cake when
he was in Hong Kong.
There must be radish piece in radish cake!And Ming Xiang Yuan's radish cake
definitely has radish piece inside. Dipping a little bit spicy sauce, it
highlights the aroma and sweetness of the radish cake. We order it every time
when we go here.
#Beef&Cheese Sandwich (NT$70)
We thought it was a normal sandwich at first. But after seeing it, we know we
are wrong, it is two completely different thing but share the same name.
Egg and hot cheese topped on the toast, with some beef, a bite of all these
things, the smooth combination of cheese and egg make it so gooooood to eat.
#Pork and Eggs Rice (NT$130)
It looks cute but with evil cholesterol. We love the tender pork but we
didn't enjoy the sauce. It seems like boiled black sugar but with a weird
taste.
#Rice Noodle with Fried Dough (NT$100)
My friend had tried rice noodle with roast pork last time and find it normal.
But after seeing the picture of this cute thing, we still order rice noodle
but with fired dough this time.
Nevertheless, the rice noodle still tastes like overcooked for a while and we
don't like the texture.
But it is still worth a try if you want to eat rice noodle with fried dough!
#Iced Tea (NT$80)
I have tried many iced tea in Taiwan and feel disappointed. Some of the
iced tea tastes just like it came from fast food shop. To him, iced shop
should be served with a spoon so he can poke the lime and enjoy it.
He found this "Iced Tea" in Ming Xiang Yuan. However, the iced tea that day
is a little bit astringent, which is a shame, but he still enjoy it.
My friend said that last time the iced tea he drank here was not astringent.
#Iced Milk Tea (NT$80)
There is an obvious difference between Taiwan milk tea and Hong Kong milk tea.
Taiwan Milk Tea is usually more milk than tea while Hong Kong milk tea is on
the contrast. However, we adore both of them.
We felt iced milk tea here is a little bit sweeter, so we wait until half of
the ice is melting and it felt much better to drink.
