For my personal experience and opinion, just let it go.
If this vocabulary is common or important to the type/kind of essay which you read.
It definitely will appear somewhere again and again and then you will become familiar with it.
But, what you need to do is keep your reading for long time.

I agree with you.If the word is common, you'll soon get use to it.If it's rarely seen by you, you can just search whenyou need it.
