RX100m4發表時，官方聲稱4K的單段錄影時間上限是5分鐘，
引發了散熱問題的疑慮
台灣這邊的開箱文都沒針對此項去測試，本來打算租來自己測，
不過發現水管上有國外人士已經先測了:

嫌時間太長的，可以快轉到下列幾個時間點:
(1) 27:23 4K連續錄5分鐘後自動停止
(2) 28:10 隔了超過30秒後第二次按下錄影鍵
(3) 29:02 第二次錄開始後約4分鐘就會出現黃色溫度計圖示，5分鐘後自動停止，
但停止後黃色溫度計圖示沒有消失
(4) 29:20 黃色溫度計圖示消失
(5) 30:26 第三次按下錄影鍵
(6) 31:06 第三次錄開始後約38秒就會出現黃色溫度計圖示
(7) 31:20 約1分40秒後，出現內部溫度過高的警示並自動停止，要求降溫
這個測試可以看到，冷機狀態下第一次錄4K可達到5分鐘，
隔30秒以上後第二次錄也可達到5分鐘，但4分鐘時就會顯示過熱警告圖示
第三次錄時38秒就會出現過熱警告圖示，1分40秒就會跳出全畫面的溫度過高警告並停止
與之前Sony的機種很像，聲稱的單段錄影長度是在最佳的環境條件下才能達成，
環境溫度惡化後的錄影長度會縮短
如果是因為4K錄影去買RX100m4，請注意錄影長度的限制是否會影響自身的使用

"One thing I discovered about half way into the shoot was that the camera has
a tendency to overheat when recording in 4K for extended periods. At first a
yellow warning sign pops up on the screen, then a few minutes later the camera
shuts itself down with a black warning saying it needs to cool down. This is
not something I have experienced in normal shooting with either the Panasonic
GH4 or Sony a7S. The last time this happened to me was when using a Canon 5D
mkII in hot conditions. During the shoot it was warm weather but not scorching
hot, so I expect it is the 4K recording that is creating the excess heat. I
lost several shots while waiting for the camera to cool down."
這篇純粹是作者實際拍攝過程中發現的，所以沒有相關的計時計次資料，
但從它拍下的螢幕顯示照片來看，7秒就出現黃色溫度計圖示
至於RX10 m2，目前還沒有任何與此相關的測試出現
