Gg說他的朋友根據『和合本』的譯文來解釋歌羅西1：15.
這麼說吧，基本概念有兩個：1）聖經不是中文，英文寫的，所以中英文聖經都是『譯本
』。意思就是，會『錯』；2）英文譯本因為語言和文化的關係，比中文譯本要翻譯的『
準確的多』。
華人基督教真的能夠『讀』原文聖經的沒幾個。能讀英文的，應該還是有。以下是從
bible.fhl.net抓出來的7個版本英文譯本的翻譯：
KJV Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
BBE Who is the image of the unseen God coming into existence before all
living things;
WEB who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
ASV who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
DARBY who is image of the invisible God, firstborn of all creation;
ERV who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
ESV He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
原則上，BBE的譯文是最糟糕的。所以，跟和合本的翻譯：基督的存有在所有的被造物之
前，一致。但是，其他那些『主要』的英文譯本，基本上都是採取the firstborn of
all/every creation的翻譯。中文相應的譯文是：所有/每一個被造之物的首生者。
（大家如果有興趣，可以去bible.fhl.net比較各中文譯本的翻譯，會很有意思的。）
所以，gg的朋友犯下的錯誤是：根據錯誤的譯文斷定神學/真理。
這種情況在華人基督教非常普遍，大家要小心，謹慎！
