Chelsea Under-19s have been drawn against Molde FK in the first knockout
round of the UEFA Youth League.

The Blues, two-times winners and finalists last season, will face the
Scandinavians in a home-and-away tie next month, with the first leg played
in England and the second leg in Norway. It is a repeat of our group-stage
meeting in the 2012/13 NextGen Series, an Under-19 European competition
that preceded the UEFA Youth League, when we drew 1-1 away and triumphed
6-0 at Cobham in the return. Nathan Ake, Andreas Christensen and Ruben
Loftus-Cheek were among the youngsters to take part that year for Dermot
Drummy's side.
10月份要進行先主後客兩回合比賽，兩隊先前曾在歐洲青年聯賽的前身，12-13 賽季
的下一代系列賽交手過，當年1-1客場平後主場6-0大勝，阿奇、克里斯坦森、洛夫圖
斯奇克當時都在德魯米麾下踢球。
The Domestic Champions path was introduced in 2015 to allow the domestic
youth champions of the 32 best-ranked UEFA associations to take part in
the competition, if they were not already involved through the UEFA
Champions League route. The young Blues qualify after being crowned
Under-18 Premier League champions last term.
歐洲青年聯賽2015年採用新制，被學長拖累的小朋友們如果拿到本國聯賽冠軍也可以
進入下一賽季的比賽，但只限歐足聯排名前32的足協，而本賽季小車們就是以上賽季
英格蘭U18聯賽全國冠軍的身分參戰。
The first leg of our round-one fixture is scheduled for Wednesday 3
October, with the return to follow on Wednesday 24 October. Confirmed
times, dates and venues will be announced shortly.
第一回合是10月3日，第二回合則是10月24日。
If successful over two legs against Molde, Joe Edwards's side will take on
either the Swedish team IF Elfsborg or KR of Iceland. The eight teams
remaining after that stage will progress to the play-off round where they
will host a one-legged tie against one of the eight UEFA Champions League
path runners-up. The winners of those fixtures will then progress to the
Round of 16, where they will join the eight group winners from the
Champions League path.

It is the first season our youngsters have been involved in this side of
the European competition, having advanced through the group stage and
lifted the trophy in both 2014/15 and 2015/16.
