If you are giving up something to help someone else, others might see it
a "sacrifice." But you don't see it that way, Moonchild, because you want
to help this person out, even if it means giving up something for
yourself. There is no foolishness in this, unless of course, you are doing
this for someone who has taken advantage of your good nature and
sensitivity time and time again. If that's what someone is pointing out to
you now, you need to take stock of past actions and decide if your efforts
are being taken for granted.
