How can you reach someone who doesn't seem to be listening? How can you
get through to someone who doesn't seem to understand? That's right, you
can't reach someone if they refuse to go along, Moonchild, but you can get
closer and closer to the point of being heard if you try. Someone does not
want to hear what you have to say. There may be a refusal to explore an
issue that is hard to deal with. But if you work at being a good friend and
work on creating a support system, eventually you will turn this person's
mind around, and then that person will become reachable.
