English Etymology
...The use of the word in radio commiunication to mean "yes, I understand"
is attested from 1941, from the U.S. military phonetic alphabet word for
the letter -R-, in this an abbreviation for "received." Said to have been
used by the R.A.F. since 1938. ...

R.A.F.最早會把這兩個詞代換的原因還是不明就是，但我看如果沒有拿這問題去問二戰老兵應該也就是不可考了
