The Red Sox were pretty far down the road on a deal to make Paul Toboni their GM
before the Nationals made him their president of baseball operations, according
to @Sean_McAdam.
The Sox don’t fear losing anyone else from the front office and thus have less
urgency to name a GM.

只是title比較大 但職責是一樣的 但也有球隊是GM實際執行 總裁最後決定 但一般是合作關係 不是每支球隊都有這個職位 因為原本設計出來的目的就是留住人才不被挖角 所以有些球隊雖然兩個職位都有 但是同一人擔任 史上最年輕的GM是2007年接條子的Jon Daniels 他當年27歲
