Shohei Ohtani hasn’t had much trouble adapting to Major League
Baseball: The 23-year-old phenomenon is 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA as a
pitcher entering play Friday and hitting .346 with three homers
and an 1.183 OPS at the plate after yet another good offensive
game Thursday night against the Royals.

played there in 2017, and so Ohtani, dispatched to first base by
the umpire, was all, “wait, what?”
