簽下20歲的台體大投手黃暐傑，fastball 89-94, secondary pitches不穩定但有些潛力
，80-83 mph的slider有機會變成平均水準的球種、changeup有發展潛力；現在倚重的曲
球在面對美國打者的時候可能只能偶爾丟一下。
黃暐傑日前已經在響尾蛇的小聯盟春訓營待過一段時間了。
The Diamondbacks have signed 20-year-old righthander Wei-Chieh Huang from
Taiwan. Huang pitched at the National Taiwan University of Physical Education
and Sport, where he showed an 89-94 mph fastball. His secondary pitches are
inconsistent but have their moments, with an 80-83 mph slider that has come
on recently and could develop into an average pitch, along with a changeup
that flashes average and could tick up. He relies a lot on his slow
curveball, though against professional hitters in the United States, that
pitch may become more of a get-me-over offering early in the count. Huang has
already spent time in Arizona when he pitched in minor league spring training
games with the Diamondbacks.

While bonus information was not immediately available, Huang’s signing will
count against Arizona’s 2014-15 international bonus pool. The Diamondbacks
already signed Dominican outfielder Remy Cordero for $350,000 and Dominican
third baseman Marlon Arroyo for $350,000 as well.
