You may have little hope that you can resolve a complex issue with a
difficult person, even though you are a talented mediator. After all, this
person isn't exactly helpful or open-minded, and may be causing more friction
than is necessary. But if you don't start believing that it is possible to
find a resolution, then it will be tough to find one, if not impossible. Even
though it may be like dealing with a brick wall, there is probably a way to
reach this individual. Use your keen insight, and remain sympathetic.
