Are you someone who would like to introduce the beauty of Taiwan to
foreigners? Then Like It Formosa is a group that you should know. Founded in
2015, their dedication to "cultural tourism" are conveyed in their walking
tours, maps, blogs, and many other activities they host. Their work has not
only impressed those who have attended their activities, it has also garnered
local media coverage. On 8/12, they will have someone come over to share with
us their tips on showing foreigners around town in "Introducing the Beauty of
Taiwan".

Not only is Tony an online translator of humorous content, he is also an
interpreter, providing simultaneous English-to-Chinese and Chinese-to-English
interpretations at international conferences. It is a job that requires a
good reflex and concentration as well as mastery in both English and Chinese.
iEnglish Club is honored to have invited Tony to share with us on September 2
his experience and hard work that ultimately led him to become an interpreter
in “Connecting Different Worlds - My Journey of Becoming an Interpreter”

3.範圍：
Session 1: Any news or issues. ex: BBC, NYTimes, TED, http://focustaiwan.tw/,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portal:Current_events
Speech Session: One of our members will share with us something he wishes
everyone to know!
Session 2: Weekly Article posted on our homepage (www.ienglishclub.tw/) with
questions to facilitate discussion.
4.對象及目標：
This club is for the ones that are keen to hone their reading and speaking
skills.

建立一個練習英文聊天的輕鬆環境。用任何外語聊天是一個困難的技巧，也必須要有一個
比較不一樣的環境。所以我們在這裡要建立讓大家用英文做最平凡但最有樂趣的事情，那
就是聊天！在這裡，輕鬆就是王道！
