President Donald Trump said Sunday that Ukrainian President Volodymyr
Zelenskyy could end the war with Russia "almost immediately" if he wanted.

Trump's comments come ahead of his scheduled meeting with Zelenskyy and
several European leaders in Washington, D.C. on Monday.

"President Zelenskyy of Ukraine can end the war with Russia almost immediately
, if he wants to, or he can continue to fight," Trump said in a post on Truth
Social. "Remember how it started. No getting back Obama given Crimea (12 years
ago, without a shot being fired!), and NO GOING INTO NATO BY UKRAINE. Some
things never change!!!"

Meloni, and Finnish President Alexander Stubb confirmed Sunday they would
attend the meeting in Washington.

priorities for the White House meeting, focusing on long-term military aid,

"The Fake News has been saying for 3 days that I suffered a ‘major defeat’

doing the meeting anywhere else but the U.S., and the Fake News knows this. It
was a major point of contention! If we had the Summit elsewhere, the Democrat
run and controlled media would have said what a terrible thing THAT was.

way!"

Zelenskyy’s White House meeting follows Trump’s summit with Russian
President Vladimir Putin in Anchorage on Friday, where Trump dropped his
ceasefire demand and urged a final peace deal.

After meeting with Putin, Trump said the Russian leader was willing to end the

should take the deal because "Russia is a very big power, and they're not."

我已抵達華盛頓。明天將與川普總統會晤，同時也會與歐洲領袖們會談。
感謝美國總統的邀請。我們大家都有一樣的目標：要快速而可靠地結束這場戰爭。
而和平必須是持久的，而不是像過去那樣——當時烏克蘭被迫交出克里米亞與部分
東部（頓巴斯地區），而普京只是把那當作下一次侵略的跳板；又或者像1994年烏
克蘭獲得所謂「安全保障」，結果毫無作用。當然，當年就不該交出克里米亞，就
如同2022年之後，烏克蘭人也沒有放棄基輔、奧德薩、哈爾科夫一樣。
烏克蘭人正在為自己的土地和獨立奮戰。現在，我們的部隊在頓涅茨克州和蘇梅州
已有進展。我相信，我們一定能保衛烏克蘭，建立有效的安全保障。
