Position Title: Process Engineer
Position Overview: This is a non-supervisory position with responsibilities to oversee, monitor, organize and implement overall Production Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned or removed upon requirement):
1. Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.
2. Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
3. Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately.
4. Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
5. Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
6. Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.
7. Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
8. Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.
9. Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
10. Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.
11. Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups or managers.
2. Ability to provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.
3. Ability to attain and maintain state of the art knowledge of all Pegatron technology product and industry trends.
4. Ability to investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
5. Strong listening, oral and written communication skills, ability to motivate.
6. Able to plan, direct and delegate work to others.
7. Strong organizational and problem solving skills as well as administrative management skills.
8. Ability to develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or similar engineering discipline).
