Warriors’ Steve Kerr says ‘Next Question’ trend is unhealthy, dangerous
for the NBA
勇士總教練Steve Kerr說 講"Next Question"的潮流對聯盟來說是不健康且危險的
Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has become one of the most
outspoken figures in professional sports while never shying away from
speaking out on topics both related and unrelated to the NBA. This time
around, Kerr chimed in with his two cents regarding Oklahoma City Thunder
point guard Russell Westbrook and his tendency to not answer certain
questions at his postgame press conferences.
勇士總教練Steve Kerr一直都是職業運動裡幾位很愛對外發聲的人士之一，不管是不是跟
NBA有關的話題，從來就不會客氣的表示他的意見。而這次，Kerr對於雷霆控衛Russell
Westbrook在賽後記者會常常會不回答某些問題表示了一點他的意見。
“I just feel that we have to be very careful as a league,” Kerr recently
said, via The Athletic. “We’re in a good place right now. Very popular.
Fans love the game, the social dynamic, the fashion. But more than anything
they love the connection they feel to the players. I think it’s important
for the players to understand that it’s a key dynamic to this league. I don’
t think this is a healthy dynamic, for this league, for any player, any team,
any local media, any national media.”
「我只是覺得大家是在同一聯盟，要很小心處理這些事情，」Kerr說到。「我們現在的狀
況很不錯，很受大家歡迎，粉絲很愛看比賽，跟社會大眾有互動，也有引領潮流。但是，

Of course, part of participating in the postseason is speaking to the media
both before and after games throughout the process.

“It’s all part of the business,” Kerr added, via The Athletic. “You’ve
got to feed information to the fans. You don’t have to give a great answer,
but it’s dangerous when you go down that path of no communication because
one of the reasons people like the league right now is we have a lot of great
players, really good guys who handle themselves well. So don’t kill that. You
’ve got to keep that going. That’s a big part of the business.”

Westbrook and the Thunder are currently looking to even things up against the
Portland Trail Blazers with Kerr and the Warriors leading the Los Angeles
Clippers 3-1.
