簡單說就是發現老鼠的腦部有專門虐兒的神經區塊
一旦被刺激就會開始虐殺子嗣，抑止時就會停止虐殺
最特別的是跟同類打架或是對抗外敵時都不會活化該區塊
而且公母皆有此現象
即便是沒有生育與性經驗的老鼠，一旦被刺激此區塊
也會開始攻擊幼鼠或是放棄育兒活動
專家說人類搞不好也有這種神經區塊
