#Braves traded for Colorado Rockies right-handed reliever Tyler Kinley, in
exchange for 26-year-old Double-A pitcher Austin Smith.
Kinley, 34, has a 5.66 ERA in 49 appearances, but a 1.98 ERA in his past 13
appearances, with 18 Ks and 3 walks in 13 2/3 IP.

Smith was an 18th-round pick in 2021 and has a 5.07 ERA in 107 minor league
appearances over five seasons, including 4.88 this year n 29 appearances in
High A and Double A.
The Braves are responsible for the $750,000 buyout of the $5 million option
on Kinley's contract for 2026.
