Home-plate ump Mark Carlson said after the game,
“I didn’t have him violating any rules for the collision play.
If he has the ball securely he would have been able to block the plate.”
“His foot touched the plate before the catcher had possession and control of
the ball.”
這跟本壘衝撞規則一點關係也沒。
裁判就是認為跑者先到，就這樣。
