[請益] 怎麼說佔的比例很重？

我想要說「考試成績在總成績裡佔很重的比例」，可是我不太知道一般都怎麼表達。
我想到的是occupies a large portion of這個用法。可以說 the assessment‘s grade
occupies a large portion of the final grade嗎？
還是有更好更簡潔的說法呢？或是有什麼常見、固定的用法嗎？
