前後文句句意清楚時，可以省略，the+最高級可以當作(抽象)名詞做使用，你省略讀者只會自己腦補一個最容易解釋的名詞補回去而已，以第一句為例，讀可可能會補person而不會補到你原先寫的child，第二句尚且可以而你現在都只有拿兩個短句來問能不能省略，建議你不要隨意省略。省略的原則永遠都是跟前後文意做比較為求精簡而省，這裡其實根本不需要(也不建議)考慮省略與否。

Peter is the tallest in the family -->the tallest"what"? 是家裡所有成員裡頭最高？(也比家裡所有成人高？)還是？ 語意不清Vivian is the best in her class. -->同前。(the best wwhat? chest player? runner?)"因為這些題目..."->換句話說只是個無詳細內文的句子，那麼就不要省略，不然就如前述只是語意不清的句子。
