protest 這個可以是vi & vt
意思也很多，但是今天看到幾個例句讓我有點搞混了
如: They protested the war.
Students have been protesting against the government's policy.
這邊兩個的protest都是抗議，但是一個有against，另一句則沒有
請問兩者的差異? 意思或意義上有什麼不同?
